Twenty years ago, if you'd told me I'd be running a business teaching working women how to cast spells and work with Spirit Guides, I would have laughed in your face.
Not because I didn't believe in magic. I did, and still do. Even as a little girl, I was fascinated by witches and the buzzing, alive, immense energy of The Universe. But I didn't know what to do with that fascination. So I gradually buried it under work, hustle, and adulting.
I got a government job. I climbed the corporate HR ladder. I did all the "right" things.
And I ignored every single intuitive nudge telling me there was something else I was meant to do.
The Psychic Reading That Cracked Everything Open
In my early 20s, a friend and I visited a psychic over lunch. You know, just for fun.
Well, spoiler alert: that fun little reading cracked open my entire reality.
I was told I had three Spirit Guides and how they'd make themselves known to me. The psychic told me one of my Guides was named Happy Feather, and that she would send feathers to let me know she was near.
I left feeling intrigued but also wildly skeptical.
Then things got weird, in a good way.
Feathers started showing up when I was having hard days. They were always near me, always when I was in a funk. At first, I brushed off the experiences as coincidence or bias, and I believed that my brain was finding patterns where there weren't any.
But they kept happening.
Later, after I decided to become a vegetarian, I began hearing and seeing animal messages more clearly, not just for me but also for the people around me. I'd be talking to a friend and suddenly know that the hawk circling overhead had a message for them (hawks have long been associated throughout many cultures as bringers of messages, awareness, and insight). I'd see a racoon cross the road and immediately understand it meant something about timing, strategy, and resourcefulness (racoons are known for their problem-solving skills).
It took time (and a lot of resisting) for me to accept that this wasn't random. I had Spirit Guides, and they were patiently helping me wake up to who I truly was.
The Science Behind Spirit Guide Communication
Here's what I've come to understand, both through my own channeling and through studying how the brain actually works.
When I talk about Spirit Guides, I'm talking about energy. And specifically, the way your intuitive system, your subconscious pattern recognition, and your higher awareness all communicate through symbols, feelings, and knowing.
Neuroscience has a name for this feedback network: the Reticular Activating System (RAS). It's the part of your brain that filters what you notice from what you ignore. Your RAS is constantly scanning your environment for information that matches what you've told it is important.
When you begin paying attention to symbols, repeated themes, animals, dreams, and intuitive hits, you are training this system to show you information that you were previously overlooking.
This is why Spirit Guide communication often feels symbolic and meaningful. And this is why it works in real business decisions.
You're learning the language your deeper awareness already uses.
Now, does that mean Spirit Guides are "just" your brain? I don't think so. I think your brain is the instrument through which universal energy communicates with you. But whether you believe Spirit Guides are external helpers or internal wisdom doesn't actually matter.
What matters is that when you learn to work with this communication, real shifts happen.
The Exact Moment Everything Shifted
I had a dream when I first considered leaving corporate HR to start my own business. A massive, well over 20-foot python came to me.
I am afraid of snakes. I mean, run screaming, jump on a car hood, levels of fear (true story, that really happened).
But the message from the dream was clear: it's time to shed your old skin and step into your new life.

I had been feeling the pull to leave corporate HR for years. But I kept ignoring it. I had a good salary, benefits, and stability. And leaving felt reckless and irresponsible.
Then I had that dream.
What Became Possible When I Stopped Resisting
Once I finally accepted that this was real–that I had Guides helping me, and that this was part of my path–everything changed.
I left corporate HR and started my business. I stopped trying to build something that looked like everyone else's model and started building something that felt like mine. I learned to cast spells, work with herbs, channel messages, and trust the guidance I received.
My business grew, not because I hustled harder, but because I was finally aligned with what I was meant to do.
And I started seeing the same thing happen with my clients.
Spirit Guides don't always show up as animals. Sometimes they appear as places, symbols, or energies that are uniquely meaningful to the person receiving them.
One of my clients saw a red clay path that reminded her of Nigeria, where she grew up. After several sessions, I channeled a small body of water, like a lake or large pond. Turns out, this is where she and her sisters used to play as children. This place reminded her of happier, simpler times. Through self-visualization, she is now able to return to this place in times of high job stress. Her Spirit Guide gave her a sanctuary she can access anytime she needs it.
Another client's Spirit Guide came through as a whale shark. They're huge, but peaceful, posing no threat to humans. Since working with me, she is now able to see the whale shark, and when her brain is in overdrive, she gives the issues to her Guide. The ideas, thoughts, and solutions come back clearly when she needs them–sometimes in minutes, sometimes several hours later. She's learned to trust that her Guide is holding the overwhelm so she doesn't have to carry it all herself.
This is what happens when you stop resisting and start trusting.
The Process I Use With Clients
When a client comes to work with me, we don't start by forcing a Spirit Guide connection. We start by creating the conditions for it to happen naturally.
Here's what that process looks like:
Step 1: we protect and ground. 👷🏽♀️
In order to have a comfortable and safe relationship with Spirit Guides, we always start with grounding and energetic protection. I walk every person who does a visualization with me through protection practices during this part of the process. Step 2: We ask.🙏
It really is this simple. We ask the Spirit Guides to show themselves. We create an intentional opening for communication.
Step 3: We pay attention. 🔎
This is where most people struggle. They expect a booming voice or a dramatic vision. But Spirit Guide communication is usually subtle. It’s more of a feeling, an image, or a knowing that arrives without logical explanation. I help clients recognize what's actually happening so they don't dismiss it.
Step 4: We document and track.📜
Patterns reveal themselves over time. The more you track, the more you see. The more you see, the more you trust this process and what your Guides are here to tell you.
Step 5: We apply it. 🏇
We take the messages and use them to make real business decisions. Should you launch this offer? What's blocking your visibility at work? Why does implementing that system feel so hard? Your Spirit Guides have answers.
Over the course of our work together, women stop juggling ideas and start choosing one. They stop wondering what they should do each day and begin knowing what to work on. They notice themselves posting, reaching out, creating, and following through, because the hesitation stops running the show.
You're Not Meant to Do This Alone
I spent years trying to figure everything out on my own. I thought asking for help, whether from people or from Spirit, meant I was incapable.
I was wrong.
The moment I opened up to guidance, everything got easier. Not because the work disappeared, but because I wasn't carrying it alone anymore.
Your Spirit Guides are already here. They've been trying to get your attention. The feathers that appear seemingly out of nowhere. The repeating numbers that you constantly see.
